Katherine Vibert, also known as Kate Nye, is an American athlete and weightlifter who represents the U.S. in international competitions. She was born in Bowlegs, Oklahoma, United States, on January 5, 1999.
Kate began her professional weight-lifting career in the late 2010s, and in 2018, she won her first medal, silver in the 69 kg category at the Junior World Championships. She has since won two gold medals at the Pan American Championships and one gold at the World Championships. Kate won gold in the 76 kg event at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics, which also featured Neisi Dajomes, Aremi Fuentes, and Patricia Strenius.
