Katelyn Michelle Ohashi is an American professional gymnast who became famous in 2019 when one of her 10/10 performances went viral on several networks and social media platforms. She was born in Seattle, Washington, United States, on April 12, 1997. Katelyn made her national gymnastics debut in 2009 at the age of twelve, where she won gold in the floor exercise category. Her best year was 2012 when she won five gold medals at the Jr. Pacific Rim Championships for Team, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam, Floor Exercise, and All-Around. While representing the University of California, she would regularly score perfect 10s, and one of her performances went viral on the internet, making her famous.
