Katherine Heigl Bio
Actress Katherine Marie Heigl, born November 24th 1978 in Washington, D.C., started in show business as a model with Wilhelmina Models. Heigl made her film debut in That Night, and appeared in King of the Hill, My Father the Hero, Wish Upon a Star, The Tempest and Bride of Chucky. Katherine turned her attention to TV, starring in Roswell as Isabel Evans, but her big break came as Isobel Stevens in Grey’s Anatomy, which she won a Primetime Emmy Award for. Heigl went on to appear in popular movies including Knocked Up, 27 Dresses, The Ugly Truth, Life As We Know It, One For The Money, and New Year’s Eve. She also snagged a role in the popular TV series Suits as Samantha Wheeler.
