Katie Leung is an actress born on 8th August 1987 in Dundee, Scotland. She is widely recognized for playing Cho Chang in the Harry Potter film series. She made her stage debut in 2012 with the play “Wild Swans”. From there, she appeared in several other stage productions. Leung started her acting career in 2005 with the fantasy film “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”. She went on to appear in other Harry Potter film series from 2007 to 2011 before landing the role of Nurse in the black-comedy drama film “T2 Trainspotting”.
In the same year, she appeared in the action thriller film “The Foreigner” as Fan Quan. In 2018, she appeared in the short film “Leading Lady Parts” as an assistant. Leung’s television debut came in 2008, playing the role of Hsui Tai in an episode of the mystery drama television program “Agatha Christie’s Poirot”. She also appeared in the series “Run” in 2013, “One Child” in 2014, “Strangers” in 2018, “Chimerica” in 2019, “Roadkill” in 2020, “Annika” in 2021, and others.
