Katie Stevens is an American actress and singer, born on December 8, 1992, in Southbury, Connecticut. She began singing at age 3. Her passion for music landed her a spot on the ninth season of American Idol, where she gained recognition for her powerful vocals and incredible range. This advanced her to Hollywood, where she landed in the bottom 3 during elimination night, along with Paige Miles and Tim Urban. The American Idol's popularity led her to several roles on stage and TV. In 2015, Katie landed a role in CSI: Immortality. One year later, she played Karma Ashcroft on the MTV series Faking It. Her biggest role on television is the role of Jane Sloan in The Bold Type alongside Aisha Dee and Meghann Fahy.
