Katrina, full names Katrina Elizabeth Leskanich, is a singer born on 10th April 1960, in Topeka, Kansas, United States. She is a former member of the rock band Katrina and the Waves. She released the song “Walking on Sunshine” with the band, which went on to become a hit in the mid-1980s. Katrina is also known for winning the Eurovision Song Contest for the U.K. with the band in 1997. She went on to release 12 albums with the band.
Katrina started his solo career in 1999. She released her first solo self-titled album in 2005 under Universal Records in Britain. In 2005, she took part in the Melodifestivalen. In July 2020, she released her debut live album, titled “The Live Album”. She took part in the Retro Futura Tour 2017 with artists like Modern English, Paul Young, and Howard Jones. Her other albums include “Spiritualize”, “Blisland”, “The Very Best of Katrina”, and “Hearts, Loves & Babys”.
