KAWALA Bio
KAWALA is a British musical band that performs indie-folk music. Formed by Jim Higson (Lead Vocals), Daniel McCarthy (Guitar, Vocals), Ben Batten (Drums), Reeve Coulson (Bass), and Dan Lee (Guitar) during their time at Leeds, the band's musical journey began to blossom.
In 2015, KAWALA gained substantial recognition after featuring on the esteemed Mahogany Sessions video series, catapulting them into the limelight. Their debut single, "Small Death," marked the inception of their discography in 2017, swiftly followed by the infectious track "Do It Like You" in early 2018, propelling them to streaming success. Their inaugural studio project, the EP "Counting The Miles," released later in 2018, further solidified their presence in the music scene. Notable hits such as "Ticket To Ride," "Searching," and "Moonlight" have underscored their versatility and artistry, while their album "Better With You" serves as a testament to their evolution and musical prowess.
