Keala Settle Bio
Keala Settle, born Keala Joan Settle on November the 5th 1975 in Hawaii is an American actress and singer. With a long and celebrated career on stage, her Broadway debut came in 2011 with Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and she had the honor of originating the role of Norma Valverde in the hit musical, Hands on Hardbody, a role for which she won many accolades.
Most noted for her appearance in the film The Greatest Showman in 2017, she portrayed Lettie Lutz alongside Hugh Jackman, Zendaya and Zac Efron. The song she performed, titled This is Me won a Golden Globe and was nominated for an Academy Award, and the hit led Settle to releasing an EP titled Chapter One.
