Kevin Roosevelt Moore, widely known as Keb’ Mo’ is a 5-times Grammy award-winning American blues singer and songwriter. Considered one of the most celebrated and successful singers of his genre, Keb’ Mo’ was born on October 3, 1951, in South Los Angeles, California, United States. He started his musical career by opening shows for the likes of the Mahavishnu Orchestra, Jefferson Starship, and Loggins & Messina. In 1994, he released his self-titled album which turned out to be a resounding success. His second album ‘Just Like You’ was released in 1996 and earned him his first Grammy Award cementing his name in the industry. His third album ‘Slow Down’ released in 1998 also crowned him with a Grammy Award. His other notable albums include The Door (2000), Keep It Simple (2004), Peace… Back by Popular Demand (2005). During his stellar career, he has collaborated with many country greats and won numerous prestigious awards.
