Keelan Donovan Bio
Donovan was born in Portland, Maine, and grew up as a die-hard hockey fan who both played and watched the game. Donovan became interested in performing after seeing a play about Buddy Holly's life when he was in middle school.
The eighth-grader quickly learned to play the guitar. Donovan had always enjoyed music, but it wasn't until he enrolled at the University of Maine that he got the courage to start playing and singing in front of others. He quickly became enamored with performing in front of an audience, and he found a steady job playing covers at frat homes and off-campus clubs. Donovan's enthusiasm for playing other people's music inspired him to attempt writing his songs.
In April 2014, Donovan released his debut EP, The Happenstance EPs, Pt. 1 of 3, with Pt. 2 of 3 following in August 2014 and Pt. 3 of 3 concluding the trilogy in June 2015.
