Claire Julia Hawes, better known as Keeley Hawes, is an English actress, producer, and writer best known for her work in film and television. She was born in London, England, on February 10, 1976. Keeley began her acting career in 1989 when she appeared in the TV series Tricky Business and Forever Green. In the years since, she has had a successful TV career with recurring roles in the TV series MI-5, The Durrells, Summer of Rockets, It's a Sin, Finding Alice, Mutual Friends, Ashes to Ashes, and Troublemakers, but she is best known for starring in the TV mini-series Bodyguard alongside Richard Madden, Sophie Rundle, Vincent Franklin, and Gina McKee. Keeley’s filmography includes The Bank Job, The Avengers (1998), Tristram Shandy: A Cock and Bull Story, and High-Rise. She has won a Crime Thriller Award for Best Leading Actress and three Broadcasting Press Guild Awards for Best Actress.
