Kel Mitchell Bio

Kel Johari Rice Mitchell, best known as Kel Mitchell, is an American actor, writer, comedian, and producer best known for his work in film and television. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on August 25, 1978. Kel began his acting career in 1994 when he appeared in the TV series All That, but he became famous in 1996 when he began starring in the TV series Kenan & Kel alongside Kenan Thompson, Ken Foree, Vanessa Baden, Teal Marchande, and Dan Frischman. He has since been a regular on the TV series All That, Game Shakers, Da Jammies, Rob Dyrdek's Wild Grinders, Motorcity, Clifford the Big Red Dog, and One on One. Kel’s filmography includes Mystery Men, The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle, Good Burger, Clifford's Really Big Movie, and Adventures in Christmasing. Kel won a CableACE Award for Best Actor in a Comedy Series and a Kids' Choice Award for Favorite TV Actor.
