Keldon Johnson Bio

Keldon Wilder Johnson is a professional basketball player born on October 11, 1999, in Chesterfield, Virginia, USA. He attended Oak Hill Academy, becoming the Virginia Gatorade High School Player of the Year. He participated in the McDonald's All-American and Jordan Brand Classic Games. Keldon received MVP honors at the NBPA Top 100 Camp.

Keldon made the USA Today All-USA Second Team. He played for the US Men's National U19 basketball team in 2017. Keldon played at the University of Kentucky for the 2018/19 session. He was the Southeast Conference Rookie of the Year for that session. He made the SEC All-Freshman Team and the All-SEC Second Team.

Keldon helped lead the Wildcats to the 2019 NCAA Tournament Elite Eight. The San Antonio Spurs selected him as the 29th overall pick in the first round of the 2019 NBA Draft. The small forward represented the USA at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, winning a gold medal with the team.
