Kele Okereke Bio
Rowland Kelechukwu Okereke (born 13 October 1981) is an English singer, songwriter, and musician who goes by the mononym Kele.
He is most known for being the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for Bloc Party, an indie rock band.
Okereke was born on October 13, 1981, in Liverpool, England, to Nigerian immigrant parents. He was raised Catholic and is of Igbo origin. He studied English literature at King's College London from 2001 to 2003.
