Kelontae Gavin Bio
Kelontae Gavin is an American gospel singer and worship leader born in Charleston, South Carolina on March 28, 1999. He is best known for his popular singles “No Ordinary Worship” and “Higher.” Gavin started singing at four years old at his church Favor Ministries in Ridgeville, South Carolina. After graduating from high school, he planned on getting a degree in divinity and theology and serve as a minister at the Ark Salvation Church in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2014 a YouTube video of Gavin singing went viral and he was discovered by Marquis Boone of Marquis Boone Enterprises. Gavin released his debut single in 2016 titled “Higher.” The single charted at number 23 on the Billboard Top Singles chart. In 2018 he was nominated for a Stellar Gospel Music Award for Youth Project of the Year. That same year he released his second single titled “No Ordinary Worship” and his debut studio album titled The Higher Experience. The album charted at number 2 on the Top Gospel Albums Chart.
