Kelsey McJunkins, who is known professionally for her stage name Kelsey Lu, is a singer, songwriter and cellist from Brooklyn, New York but based in Los Angeles, California. Her debut single, “Church” was producer by Patrick Wimberly and released through True Panther in 2016. In 2018, she also released the track “Shades of Blue” which explored a more pop-y side of the artist’s generic range. Her debut album “Blood” was released through Columbia records in 2019. The artist has also worked with an incredible lineup of artists like Florence + The Machine and Solange, and has also been featured on a remix of “Due West” alongside Skrillex. Lu’s exact date of birth is not known, but she was born in 1989/1990 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
