Ken Jeong Bio

Kendrick Kang-Joh Jeong is an American comedian who was born on July 13th, 1969 in Detroit, Michigan, USA. Jeong was born to South Korean parents. He graduated as a physician. While studying medicine, he never let his interest sink in acting and therefore he obtained classes of theatres and acting from other universities. He participated in open mic nights in Raleigh-Durham Circuit and the comedy spot programming series on Duke Campus 1992 and 1993 while still in medical college with the purpose of improving his background in theatre. Jeong moved to L.A and started his performance often at “Laugh Factory Comedy Clubs”. He made his first approach to the film industry by “knocked up” as “Dr. Kuni” who won the hearts of the audience. He didn’t manage but did very well in both as a comedian and a physician. He appeared in plenty of top hits like The Hangover I, II and III, Transformers and more by attaining a Streamy Award and several nominations by proving he is not only a great physician but a heart-winning performer.
