Kendall Jamaal Waston Manley, professionally known as Kendall Waston, is a distinguished Costa Rican center-back who has left an indelible mark on North America's top soccer leagues. He was born in San José, Costa Rica, on January 1, 1988.
Waston's soccer journey began in the youth setup of Deportivo Saprissa, a club renowned for its excellence in developing talent. In 2006, he ascended to the professional ranks by joining the senior Saprissa team. Over the years, Kendall Waston's career has seen him represent various clubs, including UCR, Pérez Zeledón, Vancouver Whitecaps FC, and FC Cincinnati. During his time at Saprissa, he had the privilege of playing alongside notable talents like Christian Bolaños, Ulises Segura, and Fidel Escobar.
On the international stage, Waston has been a proud ambassador of Costa Rica since his senior debut in 2013. His list of achievements boasts titles such as the Liga FPD, Costa Rican Cup, and Canadian Championship.
