Kendrick Sampson, born Kendrick Smith Sampson on March 8, 1988 in Houston, Texas, is a American actor. When he was young, his mother sent him to piano lessons, but he was more drawn to acting. His first encounter with the craft was when he participated in a theatre program offered by Elkin High School. In 2005, he made his first appearance on a production when he starred as Lamar in the movie Resurrection: The J.R. Richard Story. In 2007, he decided to take lessons from Andrew Benne Studio and Ivanna Chubbuck Studio to further develop his skills. By 2008, he had made his television debut with ABC’s Greek, which was then followed up by appearances on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2010), The Vampire Diaries (2013), Gracepoint (2014), How to Get Away with Murder (2014-2016), Supernatural (2016-2017), The Flash (2017-2018), and Insecure (2018).
