Kerry Katona, whose full name is Kerry Jayne Elizabeth Katona, is a British singer and songwriter who was born on September 6, 1980, in Warrington, Cheshire, England. After a hard childhood, in 1999 she was presented to some producers who were auditioning young girls to create a girl band. She was selected and joined Elizabeth McClarnon, and Natasha Hamilton in the band Atomic Kitten. Later that year, the band gained a lot of popularity because of their singles “Right Now”, “See Ya” and “Whole Again”. She left the band around 2001 to take care of her family but returned to the entertainment industry in 2003 as a host for different TV shows, writing her own column in OK! Magazine and even participating in the survival-like reality TV show “I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!”. After experiencing some personal problems once more, she released her autobiography titled “Kerry: Too Much Too Young” in 2006.
