Kevin Devine is an American singer and songwriter born on December 19, 1979 in Staten Island, New York. After playing for different bands in college and performing in various open mics and events, he developed his own sound and style and in 2002, he released his first album entitled Circle Gets The Square. The following year, he gained traction after he released his second album entitled Make The Clocks Move. His fan base also grew after he started touring with the band Brand New in 2004. He released his third album Split The Country, Split The Street in in 2005, and in 2006, he signed with Capitol Records and released his fourth album entitled Put Your Ghost to Rest. However, after a few months, he was dropped from the label due to a merger. Since then, he has released a multitude of singles, EPs, and LPs, most recent of which was III in 2019.
