Kevin Hamilton McDonald, known as Kevin McDonald, is an actor and comedian born on May 16, 1961 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. As a child, he spent his time in front of the television, studying up on comedy. By the time he was in high school, he was already taking theater classes. He then went to Humber College as a theater student, but was later dismissed because he was only good at comedy. Fortunately, one of his teachers enrolled him in the notable Second City improv workshops. There, he met Dave Foley and they became good friends. The duo, along with Luciano Casimiri, formed The Kids in the Hall, which went on to become a TV show that gave McDonald a total of three Primetime Emmy nominations (1993, 1994, 1995) and four Gemini Awards wins (1989, 1990, 1993). McDonald also lent his voice to notable animated films and series, such as Lilo & Stitch, Kung Fu Panda, Invader Zim, and Amphibia.
