Kevin McHale is a former professional basketball player who went on to have a success as a coach and executive after retiring from playing 1993. McHale’s playing career took place entirely for the Boston Celtics of the NBA, where helped lead the Celtics to five NBA Finals appearances, three NBA Finals championships, along with collected seven All Star Game appearances. After retiring, McHale worked as both general manager and head coach for both the Minnesota Timberwolves and Houston Rockets and as a TV analyst for NBA TV and NBA on TNT. McHale was also included on the NBA’s best 50 players ever in 1996.
