Kevin McKay Bio
Known for his electronica and house music, Kevin McKay is a Scottish DJ, music producer, and label owner who was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom. Kevin has been producing records since the early ‘90s.
When Kevin started out, he used the pseudonym Muzique Tropique. His early records were well received by established DJs such as Dubfire, Andy Weatherall, Roger Sanchez, and Danny Tenaglia. He founded his own label Glasgow Underground in 1997 and he released On My Mind with Omid 16B and Sixteen Souls. He later co-produced Destroy Rock & Roll including its 5 UK top 40 hits. His work was largely credited for the massive club hits The Terrace and Night Music. His other single Stand Back was also a chart-topping hit.
Kevin has released one album No Samples Were Harmed in the Making of This Record in 2019. He also has two famous compilations Secret Weapons (2015) and Café del Mar – Phuket (2018).
