Kevin McKidd is a Scottish actor and director best known for his work in film and television. He was born in Elgin, Moray, Scotland, on August 9, 1973.
Kevin began his acting career in 1995 when he appeared in the film Small Faces, but he became famous the following year when he was cast in the film Trainspotting. He has since had recurring roles in the TV series Station 19, Star Wars: Rebels, Journeyman, Rome, North Square, Anna Karenina, and Looking After Jo Jo, but he is best known for starring in the drama series Grey's Anatomy alongside Ellen Pompeo, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens Jr., and Patrick Dempsey.
Kevin’s filmography includes Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, Kingdom of Heaven, Made of Honor, Hannibal Rising, De-Lovely, Topsy-Turvy, and Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox. Kevon received a BAFTA nomination for Best Actor in a Scottish Film.
