Kevin Richardson, (born on October 3, 1971, in Lexington, Kentucky), is an American singer and musician, best known as a member of the vocal group the Backstreet Boys.
He grew up in a musical family and developed a passion for performing from a young age. As a teenager, Richardson participated in various musical theater productions and honed his singing and acting skills.
In 1993, Richardson joined the Backstreet Boys, a boy band that would go on to become one of the most successful groups of all time. With Richardson's addition, the group consisted of five members, including AJ McLean, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, and Nick Carter. The Backstreet Boys gained global fame with their harmonious vocals, catchy pop tunes, and captivating performances.
In 2006, Richardson made the decision to temporarily depart from the Backstreet Boys to explore other opportunities and personal interests. During this time, he pursued acting and appeared in various projects, including film and television. In 2012, he officially rejoined the Backstreet Boys, much to the delight of fans worldwide. He is married to Kristin Kay Willits.
