Kevinho Bio

Kevinho is the stage name of Kevin Kawan de Azevedo, a Brazilian singer, songwriter and electronic musician. He was born on the 15th of September, 1998, in Campinas, Brazil. He began his musical career around 2012, when he released the single “Tá Bombando É”, which was a hit. A few years later, he signed with KondZilla Records and he released his debut official single “Elas Gostam” featuring MC Davi a few months later. He established himself as a pioneer of the genre funk carioca, releasing singles like “Tumbalatum” and “Turutum”. In 2017, he had a breakthrough when his single “Olha a Explosão” became a national hit, being the most played single at the 2017 Carnival of Rio de Janeiro. It entered national and international charts and it led to remixes by rappers like French Montana and Nacho.
