Born Brian Todd Collins on April 1, 1986, Kid Ink’s first passion was art and tattoos, something that served as the inspiration for his stage name. Los Angeles rapper and producer Kid Ink began drawing attention to himself in 2010, when he released a mixtape entitled Crash Landings which, only ten days after its release, was downloaded by over 50 thousand people. As a young teen producer, he work with big names such as Diddy and Sean Kingston, and continued on his journey to the top with his 2012 release of his first studio album, Up & Away, which soared to #3 on R&B Charts in the United States and to #20 on the Billboard Top 200.
