Kiele Michelle Sanchez, professionally known as Kiele Sanchez, was born on October 13, 1977 in Chicago, Illinois. In high school, she overcame her fear of the spotlight after participating in a production of The Grapes of Wrath. After that, she decided to pursue a career in acting. She first joined MTV’s Wanna Be A VJ? but ultimately lost. Fortunately, she was signed by an agent and in 2000, she had a role in the film Migrating Forms, marking her debut in the big screen. In 2002, she appeared in That Was Then, her first television show. In 2006, she played the role of Nikki Fernandez in the third season of Lost, but her character was quickly killed off because of the unfavorable response it garnered from the fans of the show. Since then, she had played lead roles in The Glades (2010-2013) and Kingdom (2014-2017).
