Hailing from Notting Hill, London, England, Killing Joke is an English musical band that performs post-punk, synth-pop, and industrial metal music. The band consists of the core members Jaz Coleman on vocals and synthesizer, Paul Ferguson on drums and vocals, Geordie Walker on guitar and bass guitar, and Martin Glover on bass guitar and keyboard. The band was formed in 1979, and they released their eponymous, debut album Killing Joke in 1980. Their discography includes the hit singles Eighties, Love Like Blood, The Death & Resurrection Show, You’ll Never Get to Me, and the albums Pylon, Fire Dances, Down By the River, and Pandemonium. Killing Joke won a Kerrang! Lifetime Achievement Award.
