Kim Coates is a Canadian-American actor born in Saskatoon, Canada on February 21, 1958. His career started in theater playing roles in A Streetcar Named Desire and the lead role in Macbeth. He is best known for his role in the television series Sons of Anarchy as Alexander Trager and for his role in the television series Bad Blood. His career in film started in 1986 when he landed a role in the movie The Boy in Blue, he has since gone on to be in a massive amount of films and television throughout his career playing roles in shows and movies like, Waterworld, Battlefield Earth, Black Hawk Down, Hostage, Silent Hill, Skinwalkers, Miami Vice, Prison Break, Entourage, CSi: Miami, Crossing Lines, Bad Blood, among others. Coates is usually typecast as the villain in a lot of the movies and tv series he’s been.
