Kim Coles, born Kim LaShaunda Coles, is an American actress, host, and comedian who was born on January 11, 1962, in Brooklyn, New York. She began her acting career in 1990 when she appeared in 13 episodes of the TV series “In Living Color”. She made her breakthrough in 1993 when she starred in the famous TV comedy “Living Single” alongside Queen Latifah and Erika Alexander. In 1999 she got her first hostess job in the show “New Attitudes” opposite Suzanne Whang and Leanza Cornett. She also appeared in several other series, including “The Geena Davis Show”, “One on One”, “The Soul Man” and “10 Items or Less”. She was also invited to several shows, including “Late Night with Conan O’Brien”, “Hollywood Squares” as a panelist, “Coming to the Stage”, where she was a judge, and “Celebrity Fit Club”.
