Kimberly Jan Dickens, better known as Kim Dickens, is an American actress best known for her work in film and television. She was born in Huntsville, Alabama, United States, on June 18, 1965. Kim began her acting career in 1995 when she appeared in the TV series New York News and the film Palookaville. She has since had a successful TV career, with recurring roles in the TV series Fear the Walking Dead, Briarpatch, House of Cards, Treme, Friday Night Lights, 12 Miles of Bad Road, Deadwood, and Big Apple. Kim’s filmography includes the blockbusters The Blind Side, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, Hollow Man, Mercury Rising, Great Expectations, and Thank You for Smoking, but she is best known for starring in the drama-mystery film Gone Girl alongside Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike, Tyler Perry, and Neil Patrick Harris.
