Kimmy Gatewood is an American actress, writer, director, and singer who was born on July 1, 1980, in Silver Spring, Maryland. She began her acting career in 1999 when she appeared in the tv series “Neutrino”. Since then, she appeared in multiple short films and tv series, including “Fred: The Show”, “Sketchy”, “Comedy Bang! Bang!”, “Bad Judge”, “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” and “Foursome”. She jumped to fame when she appeared uncredited several times in the famous tv series “Conan”, directed and starred by Conan O’Brien. However, her most famous role is that of Stacey Beswick in the 2017 series “GLOW”, starring Alison Brie, Marc Maron and Betty Gilpin. She also appeared in 2018 in the Netflix series “Atypical”. In 2019 she directed the short “Control”, for which she earned an award at Walla Walla Movie Crush. In 2021 she wrote and starred in the short “Navel Gazers” and ended up winning an award at Micheaux Film Festival.
