King Princess Bio
King Princess is the stage name of the American singer, songwriter, musician, and producer Mikaela Straus. She was born in New York City, New York on December 19, 1998. She is signed to the label Zelig Records, an imprint of Columbia Records. Straus was offered a recording contract at 11 years old, but rejected it. After graduating from high school, she started attending the USC Thornton School of Music, but dropped out to pursue her music career. In 2018 she released her debut single titled “1950.” That same year she released her debut EP titled Make My Bead and received Breakout Pop Artist of the Year from Vivid Seats. The EP charted at number 1 on the New Zealand albums chart.
