The American actor Kirk Cameron was born on October 12, 1970, in Panorama City, California. He started to act when he was young, making some appearances in films and TV Series like “Goliath Awaits” and “Bret Maverick”, but the first film in which he played was Two Marriages in 1983. In 1985 he made a high success on the TV screen with his stellar participation in the sitcom “Growing Pains”, and thanks to the role he played, he was nominated to several awards like the Young Artist Awards in 1986, the Golden Globe Awards in 1987 and the People's Choice Awards in 1989, which he won in the Favorite Young TV performer category. Later, he decided to continue appearing in some films but focus more on religious activism.
