Kojo Funds was born March 30, 1995 in Ghana, Africa but he grew up in East London, England. Kojo attended High School at The Royal Docks Community School in London before relocating to Belgium. Kojo’s music was influenced by music of different origins including Ghanaian and Caribbean heritages. He also integrates Rap, Afro-swing, and R&B. He started out around 2010 when his friends encouraged him to pursue a music career.
Kojo used SoundCloud and YouTube to release “Want from Me,” “Anaconda,” “Arriba!,” “Want From Me,” and “Robbery.” His single “Robbery” was released on iTunes in early 2016. Kojo and Big Tipper both worked hard on producing the popular song titled “Move It.” Kojo won the Mobo 2016 Best Song Award for his song titled “Dun Talkin’,” which featured Abra Cadabra.
