Hailing from London, England, KOKOROKO is an international musical group that performs afro-fusion music that incorporates a lot of jazz elements. The group consists of Sheila Maurice-Grey on trumpet, Cassie Kinoshi on saxophone, Richie Seivwright on trombone, Yohan Kebede on the keyboard, Oscar Jerome on guitar, Mutale Chashi on bass guitar, Onome Edgeworth on percussion, and Ayo Salawu on drums. KOKOROKO has performed at numerous international music events including Wide Awake Festival, Lost Village, Pohoda Festival, Super-Sonic Jazz Festival, Coconut Music Festival, and Meadows In The Mountains. Their discography includes the hit singles Abusey Junction, Ti-de, Carry Me Home, Uman, and their eponymous studio project KOKOROKO. They were featured on Ezra Collective’s album You Can’t Steal My Joy alongside Jorja Smith and Loyle Carner.
