Konshens is the stage name of the Jamaican dancehall singer, record producer, and DJ Garfield Spence. He was born in Kingston, Jamaica on January 11, 1985. Spence started his music career as a member of the duo SoJah with his brother Delus. He eventually decided to pursue a solo career and started releasing music under the stage name Konshens. Some of his most popular songs are; “Rasta Impostor”, “Winner”, “Good Girl Gone Bad”, “This Means Money”, “Gal Dem A Talk”, “Realist Song”, “Do Sumn”, “Forward”, “Represent”, and “Gal a bubble.” In 2010 he released his debut studio album titled Real Talk. He has since released the albums Mental Maintenance and It Feel Good. Konshens has also been part of the collaboration album Medi.
