Kris Boyd is a Scottish retired professional soccer player and TV personality who played as a forward in The English Premier League and the Scottish Premiership. He was born in Irvine, Scotland, on August 18, 1983. Kris spent his formative years with the youth setup at Kilmarnock, and he turned professional in 2001 when he signed with their senior team. He went on to represent Rangers, Middlesbrough, Nottingham Forest, and Portland Timbers, and throughout his time with Rangers, Kris played alongside Shane Ferguson, Kyle Hutton, Lee McCulloch, and Haris Vučkić. Since his retirement in 2019, Kris has become known for his work as a soccer pundit and analyst on the show Gillette Soccer Saturday.
