Kristina Rihanoff is a ballroom dancer and author born on 22nd September 1977 in Vladivostok, Russia. When she was 21 years old, she was invited to the United States to participate in a dance competition. She decided to settle in Seattle, Washington, in 2001 so she can focus on professional dance competitions.
In 2004, she won the American Rhythm RS National Champions competition. Two years later, she won the South African National Latin Champions. Rihanoff had a major breakthrough in her career after being part of the “Strictly Come Dancing” live tour in 2009. After finishing the tour, she joined another tour, “Dance to the Music,” in 2012. The following year, she starred in a West End show, “Burn the Floor.” In 2015, she released her autobiography “Dancing out of Darkness.” In 2018, she directed and produced the show “Dance to the Music,” which was a big hit.
