American singer and actress, Krysta Anne Rodriguez was born on 23rd July 1984 in Orange, California. She started taking dance lessons at 13 and has been engaged in the performing arts ever since. After watching Broadway shows in New York, she also went on to learn singing and acting. During her time at Orange County High School of The Arts, she played many roles in plays like ‘The Music Man’ and ‘Gidget: The Musical’. In 2005, she made her Broadway debut in the musical ‘Good Vibrations’. In 2007, she was chosen to replace the lead actress on the Broadway show, ‘A Chorus Line’. She has worked alongside legends like Julie Andrews in her broadway career. In 2010 she made her cinematic debut in ‘The Virginity Hit’. She also made her first TV appearance on the hit show, ‘Gossip Girl’. Other films, web and TV series to her credit are ‘Shadow of Fear’, ‘It Could Be Worse’ and NBC’s ‘Smash’.
