KUČKA is the stage name of Australian producer and electronic musician Laura Jane Lowther who was born in Liverpool, England. Lowther is known for participating in all the stages of her music production, from sounds and analog synths to vocals and mixing. In 2012, she released her debut self-titled EP on the independent label Wood & Fire. On live performances, Lowther is joined by Jake Steele, from Injured Ninja, on analog synths, Katie Campbell a.k.a Catlips on live electronic beats and Rosie Taylor as percussionist. Together they have toured in France, and Australia. Lowther has collaborated also with A$AP Rocky on his album “Long Live A$AP”. Her style has been described as post-dubstep merging with electropop influences and deep bass. She has also composed for Vince Staples, Flume and Zeds Dead.
