Emmanuel Kwesi Danso Arthur Junior, better known by his stage name Kwesi Arthur, is a Ghanaian rapper, singer, and songwriter from Tema, Ghana. He was born on December 18, 1994. He ascended to prominence in 2017 with the hit tune "Grind Day," which got widespread praise and a co-sign from Sarkodie and Medikal, among others. In the first week of its release in 2019, his second EP, Live from Nkrumah Krom Vol II, had over 2 million streams.
