Kyle Dion Bio

Kyle Dion is a 24-year old (11 April 1994) American R&B singer born in New Haven, Connecticut and grew up in Florida. The Los Angeles based singer is widely known for his lush funk-R&B infused tracks and “undeniable falsetto” said by Galore Magazine. The young artist started off on YouTube and Soundcloud, Kyle gained his fan base through his cover of Frank Ocean’s ‘Thinking About You’ with 2.7 million views on YouTube (video is now private). He then released his first mixtape in 2014 titled ‘Sixes and Sevens’. 2 years later in 2016, he released his first EP, ‘Painting Sounds’. In the same year, he released his single, ‘Hold On To Me’, which now has 7 million plays on Spotify. He has toured with R&B singer and producer Eric Bellinger and was featured on Kehlani’s track ‘How We Do Us’ on her debut EP ‘Cloud 9’, has collaborated with Austin Mahone and with Duckwrth and UMI on his latest single release, ‘Play Too Much’. Kyle has received much praise for his spin on R&B, describing his sound to be “smooth, soulful songs that sound refreshing to any generation” by Fader Magazine. His most recent album, ‘SUGA’, was released in 2019 with his most played track, ‘Brown’, with 11.6 million plays on Spotify.
