Spanish flamenco singer La Hungara, widely known by her stage name Sonia Mara Priego Bárbara, was born on January 21, 1980, in Spain. She initially began the early phase of her career with "Drawing hopes" in May 2006, earning her first gold record in the process. The first single's music video, "Vete de mi vera," attracted a lot of Internet traffic and earned favourable reviews on TV and radio music shows. The greatest successes on this album were renditions of "Mala, Malita, Mala" and the medley "Fiesta con La Hngara." She released "My Best Christmas," a holiday-themed album, towards the end of the year, with the exception of the songs "Aire que respiro" and "No te enamores”. She also released "Now it's my time" in June 2007 and had songs like "A me kills" and "No imaginas" on it. She then released the album "Morir en tu veneno" in 2008, which features her daughter as well as national performers Camela, Los Rebujitos, Hakim, Felipe Conde, and Jorge González.
