Born in September 4, 1981, Lacey Nicole Sturm came from Homestead, Florida. She was known to have joined the band Flyleaf. Sturm’s distinctive voice and scream made the band achieve multi-platinum success for the hits “I’m So Sick” and “I’m Sorry.” Flyleaf was able to release three albums having Sturm with them, before she decided to leave due to family and faith reasons.
She sang “Heavy Prey” for the movie “Underworld: Awakening.” She also sang “The Reason” and “Mercy Tree” for a compilation by Billy Graham. In 2014, Lacey Sturm released a book entitled “The Reason: How I Discovered a Life Worth Living” which discusses about her Christian faith.
