Laith Ashley is an American model and actor born on 6th July 1989 in Harlem, New York. Ashley was transgender, as he was born a girl and later changed to a boy. After completing college education, he worked as a social worker with LGBTQ+ homeless youth at Callen-Lorde Community Health Center. At his workplace, he gained the courage to open up about himself and would later work on crossing over to become a man.
