Lamar Joseph Odom is a widely-known American professional basketball player born on November 6, 1979, in Queens, New York, United States. His international acclaim comes from winning a bronze medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics while playing for the USA Basketball Men’s National Team and a gold medal in FIBA World Championship in 2010. He also secured two NBA Championships in 2009 and 2010 for his team Los Angeles Lakers. After his stellar performance throughout high school and college, he was selected by the Los Angeles Clippers in 1999 and won the title of NBA All-Rookie Team in the following year. During his professional career of playing for multiple teams including Los Angeles Clippers (1999–2003), Miami Heat (2003–2004), Los Angeles Lakers (2004–2011) and Dallas Mavericks (2011–2012), he won several prestigious titles such as First-team All-Atlantic 10 (1999), NBA All-Rookie First Team (2000), NBA Sixth Man of the Year (2011) and more.
