Lara Spencer was born Lara Christine Von Seelen on June the 19th 1969 in New York and is an American television presenter. Graduating with a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Pennsylvania State University she then became well known after covering a plane crash with WABC-TV and then joined ABC’s hit morning show, Good Morning America in 1999 becoming their national correspondent.
Still currently a co-anchor on the television show, she current hosts the show with Michael Strahan, Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos. A successful author, Spencer has written two books, I Brake for yard Sales, released in 2012 and Flea Market Fabulous: Designing Gorgeous Rooms with Vintage Treasures in 2014. An executive producer and creator of the game show, It’s Worth What, she has also created other shows for various channels.
